Cucumber

Cucumber is a green vegetable that grows from a plant that bears the same name.

It 'a vegetable compound for 95% water.
It is low in carbohydrates and there are traces of protein.

Among the many benefits, the one that distinguishes Cucumber from other vegetables is the presence of tartaric acid. This acid is an antioxidant that prevents excess carbohydrates turn into fat. They are therefore indicated in slimming diets.

It is rich in minerals such as Calcium, Phosphorus, Sodium and Potassium. Cucumber plays an important role in normal cardiac function.

It is rich in vitamin C
The vitamin C is one of the most powerful antioxidants found in nature, helps fight colds.

Cucumbers are rich in water as mentioned here because they are considered diuretic and refreshing are good for the kidneys and liver and help prevent cellulite. During days of the menstrual cycle Cucumbers  are a great ally to eliminate the classical style swelling due to toxins.
