It appears that lutein may , through the blood, accumulate in the retina of the eye apportandone excellent benefits.

The minerals elements in spinach make laxative and tonic, spinach are recommended for those suffering from constipation and indigestion due to its high fiber content. They should be eaten raw because it has been shown that boiled they lose more than 50% of their benefits. It is said that spinach is a rich source of iron, but the oxalic acid in spinach hinders the absorption of iron and calcium.
